This is not something I expected to be implemented at all, since it appears to be quite complex to get done. But I've found this ringed planet I called Teal that have a giant land made of sand with some low dunes and lakes that runs underneath the strip forming a complex underwater cave system, anyway, I called the area Salty Lakes and Salty wetlands.
This almost gives an illusion of a salt bank in the edges of deserts, I wish there ware more planets like that

2021.12.05 23:30 indorock Race report: Valencia Marathon - Mission failed successfully

What: Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon Weather: 10-14 C, wind E ~25-35km/h
A Goal: New PR (under 2:53:59) ❌ B Goal: Sub 2:55 ❌ C Goal: Sub 3-hour ✅
Official chip time: 2:58:04 (avg pace 4:14/km) Strava
On October 17th of this year I ran the Amsterdam marathon and set an unexpected and solid PR of 2:53:59. Aside from being ecstatic about this performance, it also opened up a new door of opportunity for me: to time qualify for London Marathon via the Wanda Age Group Rankings. If you haven't heard of this before (I also hadn't up until 1 year ago), it's a competition in which runners aged 40+ can get ranked based on their 2 fastest marathons (as long as they are listed as qualifying races) and earn a chance to compete at the Wanda Age Group Championships, held during the London Marathon next year. You score points based on your finishing time in relation to the fastest finisher in your age group. The less minutes between the 2 of you the more points you score. If you happen to be said winner of the age group, you score 4000 points, hence the maximum possible points one can score is 8000. I ended up with 3440 points with my Amsterdam time, and I figured if I can do that one more time, I stand a decent chance of ending up top 100 in my age group and getting a invite to London next year.
The plan sounded easy, almost too easy. I took a week off after Amsterdam to recover, and then I ready to get back into training. After researching various specific training programs for running multiple marathons (Higdon, Pfitz, Jack Daniels), I ended up just sticking to what I know: the same training program I've been doing since 2015 (16-week “Run your BQ” program by Jason Fitzgerald) and repeating weeks 10-16. Maybe not the most effective approach, but at least one I was familiar with. I have decided that I will indeed try for a more universally accepted training plan - probably Jack Daniels - for my next marathon. But for now, Jason Fitzgerald would be my coach one last time.
The training went very well. In fact, unlike the weeks leading up to Amsterdam, I had ZERO issues with strange hip pains or other muscle strains. My speed sessions and long runs were looking even better (despite the horrible Berlin weather in November) and I finished it with a good level of confidence that I might be able to set a new PR yet again.
Pre Race As we (wife and I) arrived in Valencia, the atmosphere was palpable, indeed the city dubbed itself "Ciudad del Running" (the city of running) and it was true. Runners - and running routes - were everywhere. On top of that the course was extremely flat and fast - even flatter than Berlin or Chicago - and the weather prediction was near ideal, except for the medium to strong winds. At least that did mean tailwind for the last 6K so it could have been worse.
The only growing concern I had was the increased difficulty level in making it to the to 100 in the Wanda AG rankings. New times were added to the list in the weeks between Amsterdam and Valencia, and the bar was higher. Now I'd need at least 6800 points to scrape the bottom of the top 100, ideally I'd need to come away with 7000 points. Because of the way the points system works, it's largely out of my control since everything depends on the finishing time of the winner in my age group. In Amsterdam that was around 2:26, but I had a strong feeling that in Valencia the standards would be quite a bit higher.
Race The race was indeed a massive event, larger than I had expected. The 2019 edition welcomed over 21 thousand runners, and while this year's edition would be a bit smaller due to the whole pandemic thing, still over 12 thousand runners were present. My morning preparations were perfect. Empty bladder and bowel, took Loperamide tablet to prevent any possible GI issues from messing up my day (highly recommend this), did my warm up sprints and felt good to go. The only thing bothering me was that I got literally 0 hours of sleep, something I often deal with before a race. It sucks but I haven't found a good way to overcome this problem yet. It also happened before Amsterdam and didn't stop me then either so I wasn't too worried.
The run for my wave went off at 8:30 and we were up to speed instantly. The wind was noticeable but the large pack around me blocked most of it. Throughout the race I positioned myself to always have a runner shielding me from any headwind, whenever possible. My fuelling strategy was identical to Amsterdam: 1 black (non-caffeinated) Maurten gel pre-race, then alternate between white (caffeinated) and black Maurtens every 7.5K, until 37.5K. At 32K I ingested a potassium/magnesium liquid from Decathlon which does an excellent job at preventing cramps in the quads or calves in the last 10K. I hit all but one water station (the last one) to be on the safe side.
Everything went swimmingly, I maintained my goal pace of 4:05-4:07/km for the first 21K. However just after that I already started to feel a twinge of fatigue enter the thighs. This was far earlier than expected, and I didn't understand why. I was disciplined in both my pacing and my fuelling, the sunny but cool so I wasn't sweating out much electrolytes at all, so this didn't make so much sense. But it is what it is. I dialed down my pace ever so slightly, but to no real avail. At around 30K I knew pretty much certain I was going to hit the wall, or something resembling it. This has not happened to me since 2017 in Boston, and there I could lay the blame on Heartbreak Hill, but this time it was on me. I also had developed a blister (also never experienced before in a race) but that pain was easy enough to ignore. But the shutting down of the legs was something i could not meditate away.
The last 6K were simply excruciating. Hundreds of runners just zoomed by me as I barely maintained a 4:45/km pace. I tried to find a mental happy place to find a burst of energy but I was so deep inside the hurt locker, it wasn't helping. My only consolation was that I never resorted to walking...and as a result I was still at least able to come away with a sub 3-hour time. Although I knew I had a lot more in me.
Post race After setting the PR in Amsterdam and crossing the line with a strong kick, I felt so good that I knew I could have pushed myself even harder. But in Valencia, this was one of those races that I knew I had squeezed every last bit of strength and willpower out of me. I left it all out there, and there was nothing more I had left to give. Why I bonked, I still don't really know. I also realised that while I'm happy to have my 3rd sub 3-hour result, it was not going to be enough to be in the top 100 of the Wanda Age Group Rankings. Especially not since the top finisher in my age group had a time of 2:15 flat. I would finish at around 6650 points at best, nowhere near top 100.
Oh well, there is always the the option to run London for a charity.
Score 10/10 for the event. The organisation was superb, fast route, good weather, ridiculously generous with both pre- and post-race goodie bags. And much love for the residents of Valencia...he crowds were thick and VERY loud, the most energised I've ever seen in any marathon in Europe. Parts of it reminded me of the Wellesley Scream Tunnel in Boston . 8/10 for my performance. Disappointed in falling apart but at least happy I made it under 3.

2021.12.05 23:30 HicSvntDracones_4242 Says to add deposit account to get paid, but I have one..

I sold and shipped an item that was received and payment was approved well over a day ago. When I go to the transaction, it gives me 2 conflicting statements: first on the main item page i have:
Payment pending
The buyer has 2 days to inspect this item. Once they approve it, you'll have the payment in your account in up to 5 business days.
Then on the receipt, I have:
The payment hasn't been deposited yet. To cash out, add a deposit account
I have a debit card on my account for deposits, and I've gotten paid from it before, Now ALL of my prior sales, even from last year say "pending. buyer has 2 days" The last payment a few weeks ago hit my bank literally minutes after the buyer approved it, but this payment is much, much larger than the past and much more urgent. So is this normal?

2021.12.05 23:30 mike2797 Some Screenshots

I'm currently on Episode 9 and with 170 hours of gameplay, and I decided to remember some gameplay moments.
I don't remember a game that held my attention this way, the universe that Kojima created is amazing, the story seems simple at the beginning of the game, but from the middle it becomes something very well constructed, with concepts I would never imagine that were to complement each other.
I'm very curious to know how the end of this story will be, but I can already say that it was really worth it.

How long do you think it would take for someone who works out 4-5 times a week (about 25% body fat) and took a 500mg edible and then smoked 3 days later take to get clean for a urine test. They haven’t smoked for about 2 weeks before taking the edible and then 2 weeks before that.

2021.12.05 23:30 bluecatlady Should I end my career as a full time traveler now to start a career that I want to do in the long term?

I’m a travel healthcare worker, and I’m faced with the choice of whether to stop traveling and settle back in my home state to take a 75% travel job or pass on the opportunity (that might not come again for a few years) and continue traveling full time. I made a pros and cons list, and I’m looking for guidance. Is there a clear direction that you would take or recommend?
Job 1 Pros - [ ] Make more money in the short term - [ ] Travel more of the US - [ ] Pay off debt faster - [ ] Save more faster - [ ] Able to start over in a new city every 3 months
Cons - [ ] Away from home for months at a time - [ ] High pay rates are not guaranteed/could drop at any moment - [ ] Career opportunity might not be available again for a few years - [ ] Need to start over in a new city every 3 months (pro and con depending on how you look at it)
Job 2 Pros - [ ] Transition out of full time patient care - [ ] Higher pay than staff job - [ ] Will still travel weekly/monthly - [ ] can volunteer to help out in other areas of US/travel to new places - [ ] Better benefits than staff/traveler - [ ] Make my own schedule - [ ] Unlimited time off (within reason) - [ ] Will be home every week - [ ] Will get my foot in the door for long term career goals/better career prospects
Cons - [ ] Will be away from pets for a few days at a time - [ ] Less pay than travel job (maybe more pay in the long term due to travel rates possibly going down) - [ ] Will be traveling to less glamorous places/the same 3 cities every week/month - [ ] Pay off debt slower - [ ] Save money slower
